Yes. The Kendis free trial runs for six months from signup, long enough to plan and track two complete PI cycles before you decide anything. There is no credit card, no purchase order and no procurement sign-off required to start. One trial per organisation, for organisations that haven’t used Kendis in the last twelve months.
No. Kendis does not ask for card or payment details at any point during the six-month free trial. You sign up with a work email address, verify it, and your instance is ready. Nothing bills automatically at the end. The trial simply expires unless you choose to move to a paid subscription.
The trial gives you the full Kendis PI Planning product: Program Board, Dependencies Management, Objectives and OKRs, Solution Boards, the ROAM Risk Register, and two-way sync with Jira and Azure DevOps. Enterprise controls such as SSO and Advanced Security Controls, premium support, service levels, redlined agreements and Kendis AI are reserved for paid subscriptions.
The free trial is open to organisations that have not used any Kendis product, paid, free or trial, in the previous twelve months. One free trial is available per organisation. Consultancies and partners evaluating Kendis on behalf of a client should contact the Kendis team, who will set the trial up against the right account.
At six months your Kendis account becomes read-only for a further 30 days. You can still view and export everything; you cannot create or edit. If you move to a paid subscription during that window, your boards, history and integrations carry over untouched. If you don’t, the account and its data are deleted at the end of the read-only period.
Kendis offers six months free with full two-way Jira sync, with Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center both supported. Epics, features and stories flow into the Kendis Program Board, and changes made in either system update the other. It is a PI Planning layer over the Jira backlog you already have, not a replacement for it.
Yes. Kendis syncs two-way with Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS, Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center. Work items map to Kendis cards on the Program Board, and updates flow in both directions, so teams keep planning in Kendis while continuing to deliver in the tool they already use. Multiple projects and instances can feed a single Kendis board.
No. Kendis sits alongside Jira rather than replacing it. Jira stays the system of record for team-level delivery; Kendis provides the program-level view across teams that Jira doesn’t give you: cross-team dependencies, PI Objectives, program risks and increment tracking. Teams keep working in Jira, and Kendis keeps the program picture current automatically.
